Comments on slain corps members: I was misquoted -Yuguda

Faced with a barrage of criticisms over his purported unsavoury comments on the murder of some corps members in the recent post-election violence, Bauchi State Governor, Mallam Isa Yuguda, has denied having mocked the slain members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

Yuguda said he was quoted out of context. Some national dailies had reported that the Governor, in his reaction to the death of the NYSC members in Bauchi State said the corps members died because they were destined to die. www.mannamart.com
