Our attention has been drawn to one big fat lie published on the very notorious and credibility-deficient website, www.nigeriafilms.com about our client, Mrs. Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, a highly respectable Nollywood actress.

In the said damaging report that is being examined by our lawyer, the website claimed Mrs. Ekeinde is having a sizzling and immoral relationship with Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, CEO of Sifax based on the fact that www.nigeriafilms.com sights her  regularly at the Apapa office of Dr. Afolabi. ISSUES
It is a big fat lie that Mrs. Ekeinde frequents the office of Dr.
Afolabi, the major reason given for the said romance. She has NEVER
being to the said office at all.
Secondly, the Ekeindes and the Afolabis are family friends. Members of the families do exchange visits. Members of the Afolabi family do visit the Iba home of the Ekeinde often while the Ekeindes do the same. Captain Matthew Ekeinde and Dr. Afolabi are particularly fond of each other and do discuss at length when occasion permits. The last time Mrs. Ekeinde was at the Afolabi’s house was when she had a meeting with MRS. AFOLABI on participating in the highly publicized, Gaga4Fashion organized by the Afolabi’s children.
It is an open knowledge that the families of Ekeinde and Afolabi have a long standing relationship and Capt. Ekeinde is particularly close to Dr. Afolabi.

This report is a hatchet job by Nigeriafilms and we have detailed our legal team to start legal proceedings against the website that has notoriety for plagiarism and is known not to have a single reporter based in Nigeria, the major country it covers.

Nigeriafilms claimed it could not reach Omotola to confirm the story. Our firm, Bigsam Media and the website have a long standing relationship and open channel of communication; no representative of the website tried to contact us via phone or email. It is worrisome to note that a top executive of the website still spoke to our CEO on Monday concerning an advert deal we have with the website. No issue of Omotola was raised there or afterwards.

For Nigeriafilms, we are not surprised at this brazen disregard for ethics of the noble profession,  journalism and total disrespect for decency. The website has never been known for anything decent. It is a known fact that the website copy and pastes stories from other respectable websites without giving credit.

It is this same website that published a false story on an actor contracting HIV only for it to publish a rejoinder weeks after saying ‘sorry’ for the misinformation.

This same website published several apologies concerning a story on another top actress for alleging she was involved in lesbianism. The company’s former reporter left the organization due to the fact that the website only wants false and negative stories on Nigerian celebs.

We are not saying online journals should not do its job of reporting but we should endeavor to do our job within the line of decency and respect for the noble profession, journalism.

Nigeriafilms should learn from other respectable online journals that have been able to earn respect due to the professional way they conduct business.

This website thrives on the fact that it is not based in Nigeria so it has perceptual immunity to damage reputation and still escapes the arms of the law. This time around, we are ready for them. They have bitten more than they can chew.

Charles Barkley Says Everybody In The NBA Has 'Played Out' With Gay Teammates

Basketball legend Charles Barkley who is known for being outspoken, and he recently opened up about gay players in the NBA during a recent interview.

Charles stated that he has played with many gay players in the past during his career in the NBA:
First of all, every player has played with gay guys. It bothers me when I hear these reporters and jocks get on TV and say: ‘Oh, no guy can come out in a team sport. These guys would go crazy.’ First of all, quit telling me what I think. I’d rather have a gay guy who can play than a straight guy who can’t play.
“Any professional athlete who gets on TV or radio and says he never played with a gay guy is a stone-freakin’ idiot. I would even say the same thing in college. Every college player, every pro player in any sport has probably played with a gay person.”He also spoke on if there was ever a problem in the locker room or having to shower with a gay teammate:

“A guy is never going to put himself in that situation in a professional locker room. It never crossed my mind, and I never felt any different about the guy. They’re not going to do anything in the locker room. Doesn’t work like that.”

“First of all, society discriminates against gay people. They always try to make it like jocks discriminate against gay people. I’ve been a big proponent of gay marriage for a long time, because as a black person, I can’t be in for any form of discrimination at all.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger delays Hollywood comeback

Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has delayed all his future film projects, a statement from his office has confirmed.

The 63-year-old, who had planned to return to acting after launching a political career, is "focusing on personal matters.

Schwarzenegger recently admitted he had fathered a child with a member of his household staff more than 10 years ago.
The former Terminator star and his wife Maria Shriver have separated.
The full statement said: "Governor Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines.
"This includes Cry Macho, the Terminator franchise and other projects under consideration.
"We will resume discussions when Governor Schwarzenegger decides."
Ms Shriver, who has moved out of the family home in Los Angeles, has been married to the former actor for 25 years.
They have four children between the ages of 14 and 21.
Schwarzenegger has maintained a high public profile and worked to revive his movie career since finishing a seven-year run as California governor in January.
Among the potential projects were plans for him to voice the central character in the animated TV series The Governator.

Famed wrestler “Macho Man” Randy Savage died following a car accident in Tampa, Florida Friday after suffering a heart attack behind the wheel. He was 58.
 Savage lost control of his vehicle, veered across the median and collided head-on with a tree. He passed away in a nearby hospital from his injuries. His wife Lynn was in the passenger seat and survived with minor injuries.

Savage was known by wrestling fans for his raspy voice, dark sunglasses and bandana or cowboy hat and signature catch phrase “Oooh yeah!” He started wrestling for the WWF in 1985 and earned 20 championships during his career, leading him to be a favorite for many young boys who emulated his moves in the ring. Savage broke into the mainstream in the 90′s as the official spokesperson for Slim Jim, a brand he became synonymous with, using the signature catchphrase, “Snap into a Slim Jim, oooooh yeah!”

James cameron to re-release Titanic in 3-D next year

Mercury, a very toxic substance is found in the production of hair dyes, manufacture of rubber, and photo-processing. All these are used on the skin just to make you beautiful and boost self esteem. Majority of women including younger ladies and also few men use bleaching cream. There are cases of mothers using it on their toddlers to make them look attractive and beautiful to carry by every Tom, Dick and Harry.

    The use of these elements makes the skin loose its elasticity and firmness to heal quickly when an accident or cut occurs. As African, we have to know that there is no hope of getting rid of melanin permanently. NAFDAC only permits 2% of Hydroquoine in any whitening imported beauty products.

     There are also locally made beauty soaps like d 'ose aganyin' who mix different mixtures of products which includes hair shampoo, MF3, Dope. Several 'made in china' get fair fast action in a week or three days can be found in most markets with pictures of white or asian ladies and adverts that you will look similar to the pictures in a couple of days or weeks.

     Government agencies controlling the importation of these products should ensure that this country should not be a dumping ground for toxic and harmful chemical products on human lives. There should be a method of public awareness to women of a certain age group on the implication of using toxic products harmful to their health.

    A smart skin care no matter your skin tone and texture of your body should include cleansing, moisturising and maintaining a healthy lifestyle especially a healthy balanced diet. Occasional tonining of the skin is necessary for fair skinned ladies who are exposed to the sun while it is not necessary for dark or chocolate skin ladies.

    Being black is beautiful cos it symbolizes being 'endowed, blessed and tough'. Our dark skin can adapt to any weather no matter how harsh, hot or cold. Don't use harmful chemicals to look good and indirectly poison your body. You are beautiful, so be proud of who you are and your heritage.

Bigbrother Amplified -Lotus Disqualified and sent packing for slapping Luclay

    Lotus has been disqualified from Big Brother Amplified and has been asked to leave the House immediately.Lotus had a fight with Luclay which turned nasty and she slapped him.

  The mood was somber in the House on Friday afternoon. Kim cried hysterically as they helped Lotus pack her clothes. Nic, Danny, Karen and Mumba also helped while Lotus herself remained calm.

    For his role in the fight, Luclay will take over all dish washing duties as well as House cleaning duties while he remains in the House. "These duties will be yours and yours alone. Your treatment of your fellow contestants and your language will be under very close scrutiny at all times," Big Brother announced to Luclay.
